Installing Presets on Lightroom Mobile
Method 1 - Via Lightroom CC
Install the presets on Lightroom CC, not Lightroom Classic on your Windows or Mac computer first. Once they are installed, the presets will automatically sync to your mobile device via the cloud, if they are synced. See also: Step-by-step guide by Adobe.
Method 2 - Via Lightroom Mobile App
Below are the installation instructions for adding Lightroom Presets to the free Lightroom Mobile app on both Apple iOS and Android devices. You do not need a paid version of Lightroom for this method. However, please note that this process is time-consuming on iOS devices. If you have a Creative Cloud subscription, it is recommended to use method 1 instead.
Installation Guide for Lightroom Mobile app
- After downloading the product onto your computer or phone you need to extract the ZIP file and transfer all .dng files to your device.
- Start the Lightroom app on your iPhone and press the “+“ icon in your library to create a new “Folder“. You may name this folder “Presets“ and open it. Then press “Create New Album“ and name the album after the Presets you downloaded.
- Once you are in the album press the “Add“ icon to import new images. Now you need to navigate to the folder where you transferred the .dng files and select + “Open“ all of them.
- Open the first image and press “Create Preset“ in the menu after pressing the three dots on the top right.
- Name the Preset after the Preset name. eg "Landscape & Nature 01" and save it to the Presets group.
- Repeat the last two steps with every single .dng file (image) until you got all Presets listed in the Presets panel.
Note - Hopefully Adobe come out with a new way to download and upload presets onto the mobile app. If they do I will update the files accordingly and this article.
